BERLIN BUS PASSES 100,000 KMS

6th August 2007

July 6th, 2007 marks yet another milestone for the HyFLEET:CUTE project.

Sometime that morning the MAN Buses powered by the 150 kw Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines passed the 100,000 kms mark.  They have covered this distance since they commenced their operational work during the Football World Cup in Berlin in 2006.

This marks yet another important "world milestone" for HyFLEET:CUTE.  It adds to the large volume of results that show hydrogen bus technology is no longer merely for demonstration purposes but is fast approaching commercialisation.
