SMART-H2 TAKES DELIVERY OF F CELL CAR

The first DaimlerChrysler F Cell fuel cell car was handed over to the Icelandic Power Companies, Landsvirkjun and Orkuveita Reykjavikur, at a ceremony in Reykajvik on July 11th.
This event was the next step in Iceland's SMART-H2 Project.
More than 70 invited guests witnessed test drives by Mr Össur Skarphéðinsson, the Minister of Industry for Iceland, and the Mayor of Reykajvik. Mr Peter Froeschle from DaimlerChrysler, and Mrs Monika Kentzler, the HyFLEET:CUTE Project Coordinator also attended.
